LGZ series Bottom Discharge Centrifuge is a kind of fully automatic and highly technical centrifuge with scientific structure design, large handling capacity and simple operation and maintenance.
It is suitable for solid-liquid separation of fibrous material with solid-containing content of 5%~40%, suspension, materials with high viscosity and fine particle size of 10μm~a few millimeters, and toxic, flammable and explosive materials. It is featured by aseptic sanitation, airtight explosion-proof performance and multiple safety protection, and can operate in plateau working condition. Moreover, it has been widely used in pharmaceutical, fine chemical, new energy, food and other industries.

Bottom Discharge Centrifuge
The process of Filtration is similar to other types of centrifuges, the difference being in the method of unloading the Solids. The Scraper cuts the Solid cake while the basket is rotating at a slow speed. The solids are discharged through openings provided in the Basket bottom and Bottom Base / Inertia Plate.
The LGZ series Bottom Discharge Centrifuge are mainly used in the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries. This equipment is suitable for products requiring a wide filtering surface and is processed in closed environment. The complete cycle is carried out without the contact between the product and the operator. The operations are automatic and achieved with the help of PLC (Programmable Logic Control). The process of filtration is like other type of centrifuges, the difference being in the method of unloading the Solids. After hydro-extraction and with the basket rotating, the filter cake is peeled layer by layer by means of a peeling knife. The filter cake is discharged through openings provided in the Basket base plate and hopper below the centrifuge.
Bottom Discharge Centrifuge is mainly used for solid-liquid separation of the suspension with various kinds of solid particles and fibrous materials, especially toxic, flammable and explosive materials and those materials with high viscosity and fine particle size. For example, medical products such as antibiotics, vitamins and medical intermediates, food such as salt, monosodium glutamate, food additives, starch, sugar and chemical seasoning, chemical materials, such as ammonium sulphate, gypsum, mirabilite, copper sulphate, potassium chloride, borax, dye, pigment, resin and pesticide, and materials related to mining, metallurgy and environmental protection industries, etc. The Bottom Discharge Centrifuge can achieve remote control, with high automation and large handling capacity.
It has scientific structure design, low center of gravity, smooth operation, and no foundation installation, convenient for installation and maintenance of the machine
The liquid damping shock absorber system is adopted, with good vibration absorption and better vibration isolation and vibration attenuation.
The CIP online cleaning system is configured to conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection inside the machine to prevent cross contamination.
The fully-enclosed structure prevents the material from being contaminated, and achieves the nitrogen filling protection of the machine chamber, bearing seat, scraper chamber and distribution chamber.
The feeding system with inclined feeding and cake layer control device is adopted to control the distribution and make it uniform, and realize automatic control.
Gas recoiler and roller scraper device can effectively remove cake residue for cloth regeneration.
DCS control interface and automatic man-machine interface control can realize intelligent remote control.
Independent transmission assembly is convenient for assembly/disassembly, and a double seal of labyrinth and oil seal is applied between spindle and basket to make spindle completely isolated from corrosive gas.
1. Half Lid Opening : In this model the lid of the centrifuge only one half of the top cover of the centrifuge is opened to inspect the cake. For complete cleaning of the basket and inner parts of the centrifuge the monitor casing of the centrifuge has to be opened.
2. Full Body Opening : In this model the entire top cover of the centrifuge is accessible for cleaning and visual inspection. This is an ideal model for applications involving product changeovers and special cleaning needs. The basket bottom and the Mother Liquor Drain platform can be manually cleaned and visually inspected in this model. This model is often called cGMP or sanitary model. In this model a Half lid opening or Full Lid Opening design also may be provided on request.
3. Full Lid Open: In this variant the top lid of the centrifuge has a large diameter that equals the diameter of the monitor casing. This gives better access to basket inside and outer periphery (except bottom) and full access to the top cover.
4.Optional Extras: Proximity switches for Knife In/Out limits, Nitrogen Blanketing, Vibration Limiter, RPM Sensor with Indicator, Zero Speed Interlock, Cleaning in Place (CIP), Cake thickness sensor, Pneumatic Lid Opening System, Hydraulic Lid or Body opening systems, PLC Controlled Automatic operation and Skimming Arrangement and Inclined Filling Cone.
